Welcome to the age of hysteria, where a confused doctor finds himself in the confines of an asylum riddled with monsters of an unknown world. Cycle of Corruption is an erotic horror adventure game where you will have to complete your mission and unravel the mystery surrounding the asylum, all the while trying to avoid the deadly succubi roaming the facility. Some might be hostile to you right away, others might toy with you a bit, and a few might even seem friendly... but don’t be fooled — in this place, you just can’t trust any cute-looking girl you run into. Your best bet is just to avoid them.
While exploring, you will have to complete several puzzles obstructing your way forward and collect tidbits of information that will help you uncover just what on Earth has happened to the institute, and most importantly - about yourself.

Edit: Yeah, turns out that room gives you a free paper doll specifically so you can die without getting a corruption added, so you can continue on with the hammer.
The Chemical Puzzle has REALLY stumped me. So far I've been figuring out the prior puzzles on my own but... I feel like I'm missing something obvious with the Chemical Puzzle.
I uh... I just discovered you can click ">" to turn the note pages... to reveal more stuff- RAAAAAGH!
I got the first puzzle box open, then I beat the girl in the operating room, cleaned off the mirror, got the seconds, and now I'm completely stuck as I dont see any axes, no rooms have opened, nothing. Playing on 4.5a and the demo and 4.5a seem no different as I cant even find what I need as I dont see anything glowing. I barely managed to find the store and now I'm lost. I wish there was subtle hints, or being told if those glowing items are not always gonna be glowing or what.
I have a problem with the books. Which color goes on which shelf?

You missed a switch in this room. I think it's in the room to the left of where you are now. Also, use your flashlight; it's no wonder you miss stuff like this.

I really enjoyed playing Cycle of Corruption, but I’m stuck at the pipe system puzzle in version 0.4.0 I think it’s impossible to solve in this version because of a bug, i saw that it's been fixed in version 0.6.0, but I can’t afford a Patreon subscription right now :( , is there any chance I could get access to a patched version or just a fixed save file to continue the story? Hi, I found a possible bug in Cycle of Corruption 0.4.0.
In the chess minigame (the one where only the white knight, white queen, black bishop and black king are usable), after I capture the black rook and put the king in check, nothing happens.
The game doesn’t progress, even if the black king is in checkmate.
I tried different combinations and restarted the puzzle, but the result is the same.
Is there a fix or is this a known issue? Thank you.
I'm not sure what you mean exactly, but the chess puzzle has to be solved accordingly to the poem (and not by checking the king). This was a deliberate choice since we couldn't assume the player knows how to play chess.
The solution is if you want to know:
Bishop top right corner
Queen next to the rook
King is at the bottom surrounded by pawns
Knight left side above the white pawn

Okay thanks but that doesn't tell me how to get to the chemistry room to dissolve the gate. So how do I do that? all the doors are locked in Annelise's area now and theirs nowhere else I can go I even put the books in the right order it was pretty obvious, but nothing happened.
Yep I can't play the game when I start a new game it gives me this error game has encountered a bug, please report it.
Here is a snapshot of the error message it gave me, so y'all need to do something about this this is the windows version btw. In the meantime, I'll try the android version on nox to see if I encounter any similar errors or not. yep the apk version doesn't work either this time I got a connectivity error the connection the server was unsuccessful. https://localhost/index.html so I literally cannot play the game right now until these issues are fixed.

Thank you for trying this out. Since now I know your specs, I suspect it's the lighting system that is unable to run on your GPU. Can you try this one last time to see if it fixes the issue? It will disable lighting in the game, and it will be bright and hurt the atmosphere of the game, but for me, this would be a great help, since in the future, I could identify what the problem is. If so, please replace the plugins.js file in the js folder with this one:

Yes maybe so well I did what you said, and it seems to work now I'll let you know if I encounter any more issues along the way btw one more thing it seems you said it would get rid of the lighting. But the opposite is what actually occurred it got rid of the darkness instead and I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen.
